Open Ended

The conditional 0 is used for true facts. For example: If you mix blue and yellow you get green.

Both sentences (condition and result) are in present simple.

Write examples (3 or 4) of this type of conditional.

Conditional I

• Possibilities or probabilities

• Condition in present

• Result in future

• Use "will" in the result

Open Ended

What will you do if you pass the semester?

I am assuming that there are possibilities that you pass the exam. Answer this question with the first conditional. You may write several sentences.

Write as many sentences as possible, use the first conditional structure.

Conditional II

• Hypothetical situation

• Unreal or improbable

• Condition in past

• Result with "would" and the verb in the simple form

What would you do if you were the president of the university?

This is a hypothetical situation. But If you had that chance for one day, what would you do?

Open Ended

What would you do if you spoke English?

This situation for the moment is unreal, I can assume the person does not speak English.

Write as many sentences as possible.

• Imaginary, a different past

• Regretting :( Deriring :)

• I imagine a different past, resulting a different present

• Condition in past perfect

• Result with "would" and present perfect

For example: If I had woken up earlier today, I would have arrived early to the meeting.
