• A good piece of opinion writing needs to end with a strong conclusion

• Writers of opinion texts should end by summarizing or restating their opinions, bringing their writing to a definite ending point, and including a point or observation that creates a strong impression on the reader

• Writers should not introduce any material that has not been covered already
