The subject is at the beginning of the sentence.

Finding the SUBJECT IN A COMPLEX SENTENCE!
If the Independent Clause comes first, the SUBJECT is at the beginning of the sentence. EASY
WARNING!!!! If the Dependent Clause comes first, the Subject will be in the middle of the sentence after the comma where the Independent Clause starts.
