We will be getting started shortly!

Let's Get Started!

When you join my Zoom, you will get out your notebooks and write the objectives that I will type in the chat box. After that, you will go into Mentoring Minds on your AliefHub and go to ELAR Unit 2- 5.7 (D) Pre Assesment. After you do that we will read the story together and do 2 of the questions together then the rest of the questions you will do by yourself. Then we will go into Schoology into the Decoding/Grammar Folders and do the little lesson in there then you guys will do the Quiz that comes along with the lesson. After that we will read the story for the week and the little video that goes along with it then you will do the Disscusion Post. Then you will have a little break and I will let you do a just dance, but after we will go straight back to work. Then we will go over the Vocabulary lesson that is on the next slide. Also, the next slide will have futher instructions! Next!

Vocabulary Lesson!

I will have 5 Vocabulary Words below and we will discuss the words and use a sample sentence with the words.

1- Cholera: several diseases

2- Friendly: characteristic of or befitting a friend

3- Debris: the remains of anything broken down or destroyed; ruins; rubble

4- Potentially: possibly but not yet actually

5- Actually: as an actual or existing fact; really

Now I want you all to send me a private chat message. In that message I want you to think about a sample sentence using each word so, like one sample sentence for each word. You have 8 minutes. Timer has started. You may begin! Let's take a look at the next slide!

Pearson Realize

I want you to go into Pearson Realize in your AliefHub go Chapter 10: Lesson 3. I want you to read the Student Text Audio. Then do the Got It. After that, I want you to do the Quiz. Remember all of this is in your Pearson Realize. You will have 45 minutes to do all of this. The timer has started. You may begin! If you have any questions send them to me in the chat box in a PRIVATE MESSAGE. Let's take a look at the next slide!

I-Ready & I-Station

After you do your Pearson Realize I want you to do 15 minutes of both I-Ready and I-Station. I don't care which one you do first just do 15 minutes of both of them. I-Ready and I-Station are both located in your AliefHub. You may begin! Let's take a look at the next slide!

Homework!

So, for your homework I want you do create a story. Your story can be funny, scary, sad, whatever you want as long as it appropriate. If I see any violence you will get a 50 or below so, nothing inappropriate. You will have 3 days to work on your story it must be 2-4 pages long because normal books have like 100 pages and I am just telling you to write a STORY not a BOOK. When I end class you are more than welcome to start your story! Let's take a look at the next slide!

Report Cards!

Grades are due TODAY at 4:00 p.m. So, you all should get those missing assingments done after class. This is the 3rd nine weeks. YOU BETTER TURN IN THOSE MISSING ASSIGNMENTS! Let's take a look at the next slide!

How I am going to end class!

We have 45 more minutes of class. I am going to put on a movie for us to watch the next time we have class IF we have time I will resume the movie! Let's watch the movie! :)
