AS + adjective + AS

WHEN TO USE:

We use as + adjective + as to make comparisons when the things we are comparing are equal in some way.

We use not as + adjective + as when the things are not equal.

The weather this summer is as bad as last year. 

Hakkı Kaan isn't as tall as Çağan.

Her hands were as cold as ice.
