Mosquitoes are pests to humans, but food to many animals. Their mouths are sharp enough to pierce skin.

Butterflies are special insects. They begin their lives as caterpillars. Through their life-cycle they become butterflies.

The butterfly life cycle begins with an egg, then a caterpillar (larvae) is born. The caterpillar forms a pupa or chrysalis. Then a beautiful butterfly appears.
