Yo Go Verbs

2

There are many verbs in Spanish that have GO instead of YO when you conjugate them.

3

Some of these verbs are:

  • hacer = to do or to make

  • Salir = to leave or to exit

  • poner = to put or to place

4

Then you have some verbs that end in IGO

  • traer = to bring

  • Yo traigo (the I is silent - it is pronounced TRY GO

5

We have already seen a GO verb - do you remember?????

  • TENER = to have (Yo tengo muchos amigos.)

6

venir is like tener - it is a GO verb and a stem changer it means to come from or to come to

7

You need to remember that these verbs will have GO instead of O for the YO Conjugation only - all other forms are regular (unless it is a stem changer)

8
