• Conjugation is changing a verb (doing word) from it's most basic form

• EG: to go -> he goes

• In English, we use it to show who does something, or when.

• to go -> he goes -> he went

• German has the same thing - their verbs change depending on who does it. (also when, but we won't worry about that at the moment)

• German verbs change at the end, and follow the same general pattern

• We're going to use 4 verbs - kommen, trinken, wohnen and heißen
