Acts 6

• 1- 7, provision is made for the Grecians (Hellenists) widows . Seven men who are honest, filled with Holy Ghost and wisdom are selected.

• 8-15, Stephen is arrested and false charges are accused against him, saying he spoke blasphemous words against God, Moses and the law and against temple.

• Stephen was full of faith, filled with Holy Spirit and did great wonders. He was the first christian to be martyred for Christ.

Acts 7, 1- 30

• Stephen is defending saying indirectly, it was not he who was blaspheming but the Jews were.

• This really was not a defense. Stephen wasn’t interested in defending himself. He simply wanted to proclaim the truth about Jesus in a way people could understand. 

• He starts from, Abraham- Moses.
