The students will be able to identify the three main phases of the water cycle: condensation, evaporation, and precipitation
The students will be able to describe the water cycle and understand that it is not linear, but continuous

Wells are deep holes dug into the ground that can be a great source of water. Before we had plumbing and running water in our houses, this is where people would find most of their water. Where do you think the water comes from inside these wells deep inside the Earth?
