Animals such as cow provide us milk giving us milk products. Animals like deer , cow , goat , tiger ,etc. gives us meat.

Plant
Plants give us fruit and vegetables. Different part of plant are used as different food ingredients such as leaves of banana tree can be used to prepare a dish (sabzi) .

Why is food important?
Food is very important to us as it keeps us alive. We can't survive more that 3 weeks without food and 3 days without water. And also because it gives us energy to work and play , strength to fight diseases and imunity to prevent diseases.
