Causatives get and have

  • You can use get and have to ask other people to do things for you.

When you want to show who you ask, you can use:

  • GET + :) (someone)+ to+ verb

  • HAVE + :) (someone) + verb

  • I have my brother fix my car.

  • We'll get my sister to plan our wedding.
