To Be: Affirmative Form

• Es el verbo más utilizado en el idioma inglés.

• Significado: Ser / Estár

• SER: Yo soy / Katniss es / Finnick y Annie son

• ESTAR: Yo estoy / Prim está / Peeta y yo estamos

¿How to use them?

• De acuerdo a la imagen:

• I am también puede escribirse I´m

• You are también puede escribirse You´re

• He/She/It con Is y pueden escribirse He´s / She´s / It´s

• We/You_(uds)/They con are y pueden ser: We´re / You're / They´re

¿How to use them?

Así como en el idioma español, todo lo que no sea I y You_(tú), puede ser cambiado por un nombre personal o de un objeto por ejemplo:

- HE is good _or He´s good. // Peeta is good _or Peeta´s good.

- We are friends _or We´re friends // Gale and I are friends.

- It is cold _or It´s cold // The weather* is cold _or The weather´s cold.

^{*Weather = Clima}

Por fonética, cuando un nombre termina con S, al abreviar IS puedes optar por solo poner un ´ al final del nombre, pero cuando el nombre termina con SS esto es indispensable por ejemplo:

Katniss is the mockingjay - Katniss´ the mockingjay.
