There's = There is

Used to show a SINGULAR or ONE object, person or animal.

Digunakan untuk SATU benda, haiwan atau orang.

Examples:

• There is a cat on the bed.

• There's a cat on the bed.

There are

Used to show PLURAL or MORE THAN ONE objects, animals, people. The noun will contain 's' at the end.

EXAMPLES: cats, desks, oranges, girls

Digunakan untuk LEBIH DARI SATU benda, haiwan atau orang.

Examples:

• There are two cats on the bed.

• There are fourteen books on the table.
