What are the factors in a multiplication problem?

¨Factors¨ are the numbers in the problem. In simple multiplication, there are usually two numbers. To solve the problem, you need to multiply or times a number you add it to itself several times. Example: 2 x 3=6 is the same as 2+2+2=6

How to solve a multiplication problem?

Step by Step ❌

  • First, take your two numbers/factors

  • Second, multiply the first number by the second, Ex: 3 x 2 = 6 = 3 + 3 = 6

  • Lastly, when you get your solution, you´re done
