Adverbs of Manner

Adverbs tell us how we do something

My mom walks slowly.

John draws quickly.

My cousin paints beautifully.

Usually we add "-ly" to adjectives

quick -> quickly

loud -> loudly

bad -> badly

If the adjective ends in "y" change it to an "i" and add "-ly"

happy -> happi -> happily

easy -> easi -> easily

Some adjectives are irregular like

good -> well

Some stay the same like

fast -> fast

hard -> hard
