• Discount Questions- Step 1: Subtract the percent from 100. Step 2: Multiply the Percent remaining after discount TIMES the cost

• Tax/Tip Questions- Step 1: ADD the percent from 100. Step 2: Multiply the Percent after tax TIMES the cost

• Multistep Percents- 1st find discount price using discount steps. THEN use new discount price to find tax using the steps for tax

• Percent Change/Error- Subtract the values given and then set up proportion where you are finding THE PERCENT over the 100.
