Weather (cuaca)
Weather is the state of the air in a certain time, place and usually occurs in a short time. In other countries the world has a variety of weather, perhaps not the same as one country and another. Indonesia has some below are various kinds of weather (weather):
- Cloudy : berawan
- Cold : dingin
- Foggy : berkabut
- Hot : panas
- Rainy : hujan
- Snowy : bersalju
- Stormy : badai
- Windy : berangin

Seasons (musim)
The season is an event that occurs every year and it is predictable the length of time the season lasts. Indonesia only has two seasons, namely the rainy and dry seasons. In other countries the world also has different seasons. Below are the various seasons:
- Autumn season : musim gugur
- Dry season: musim kemarau
- Spring season : musim semi
- Summer season : musim panas
- Winter season : musim dingin

To ask about the weather conditions, we can use the following sentence:
1. How is the weather today?
(Bagaimana cuaca hari ini?)
2. What is the weather like today?
(Seperti apa cuaca hari ini?)

To ask how many seasons occur in a country,
using sentences:
- A: How many seasons are there in Indonesia?
(Ada berapa musim di Indonesia?)
B: There are two seasons in Indonesia.)
(Ada dua musim di Indonesia.)
- A: How many seasons does England have?
(Berapa musim yang ada di Inggris?)
B: England has four seasons.
(Inggris mempunyai empat musim.)
- A: How many seasons are there in Germany?
(Ada berapa musim di Jerman?)
B: There four seasons in Germany.
(Ada empat musim di German.)

1. The rain is falling. (Sedang turun hujan.)
Everything is getting wet. (Semuanya menjadi basah.)
2. The flowers are blooming in spring.
(Bunga-bunga bermekaran di musim semi.)
3. Flood usually occurs in rainy season.
(Banjir biasanya terjadi di musim hujan.)
4. It is hot and windy in summer.
(Panas dan berangin pada musim panas.)
5. In autumn, leaves fall everywhere.
(Pada musim guggur, daun-daun barjatuhan di semua tempat.)
