Formulas

• Sum - Adds the values in a range of cells

• Count - Counts the cells containing numbers in a range of cells (blanks ignored)

• Max - Finds the highest value in a range of cells

• CountA - Counts the number of non-blank cells

• Average - Returns the arithmetic mean of the values in a range of cells

Concatenate Function

When you combine or link more than one element in a series.

Average If Function

A function that uses a condition to return the average of all cells in a range that meets specific criteria.

Percentage Increase Formula

To calculate a value in a B2 with a percentage increase in C2 added to it.

Can be written in 2 ways:

=(1+C2)*B2

=B2*(1+C2)

Merge & Center

To center a label across several columns.

Chart

A graphical that compares and contrasts worksheet data.

Also known as a graph.

Can be moved to its own chart sheet as well.

Chart Axis

Horizontal Axis is the axis that goes from left to right. (X Axis)

Vertical Axis is the axis that goes up and down. (Y Axis)
