My Favourite Type of Music

There are many types of music in the world. My favorite type is pop-music. I love this type of music because it enables me to enjoy passing time whenever I feel bored. It started in the U.S.A in mid-1950s, then it reached the whole world. Some of the most successful musicians are pop singers; Michael Jackson, Mariah Carey, Ed Sheeran, Justin Bieber and the list goes on. Pop music often includes danceable tempo, easy to remember lyrics, and the music videos are often flashy.

Sometimes when I’m doing homework on my computer, I play music on YouTube in the background. I also watch music videos between studying sessions when I take breaks. My favorite Pop song is James Arthur’s “Impossible”; It’s a beautiful song about hope and it makes me think about working harder. In fact, all of my friends love this song and we listen to it together. We also love listening to The Weekend’s songs, as he’s a talented musician.

Live music is incredibly entertaining. Whenever a pop artist is performing in a show near our city I beg my parents to take me. Music concerts are full of fun; you see people singing along, the public dancing, and at the end of the show you can rush to the singer and ask for an autograph. Furthermore, I don’t recommend going to concerts without parental accompaniment, because there are some bad people that go there also.
