What are subject and object pronouns?
Pronomes "sujeito" e pronomes "objeto" são dois tipos de pronomes pessoais em inglês. Eles são equivalentes, respectivamente, aos pronomes pessoais do caso reto e pronomes pessoais do caso oblíquo em português.
Para cada subject pronoun nós temos um object pronoun equivalente.

Perceba que todo pronome serve para substituir algo nas frases para que não fiquem repetitivas.
Os subject pronouns substituem os sujeitos das frases, ou seja, quem pratica a ação; já os object pronouns substituem os objetos da frases, ou seja, quem recebe a ação.

Na frase: Manuela likes to study English with Julio. Podemos substituir os nomes das pessoas por pronomes. Ficaria assim:
She likes to study English with him.
Sendo que SHE aqui é o sujeito da frase, Manuela, quem faz ação de gostar, que vem antes do verbo.
Já HIM aqui é o objeto da frase, Julio, quem recebe a ação do sujeito, que vem depois do verbo.
