A Bad Morning
It was a beautiful Sunday. As I am not an early bird by nature, I thought I would laze in bed for a while, but my mother told me to get up and not to laze the day away.
Reluctantly, I dragged myself out of bed, but only after my mother promised to have breakfast ready for me very soon. Still feeling groggy, I tripped over my sister’s doll and fell. I yelled out in pain and threw the doll through the door. However, the doll hit the passage wall and its head broke off. My sister then started to cry.
My mother came out of the kitchen and furiously reprimanded me for my bad temper. Feeling unhappy, I went to the bathroom to brush my teeth. While brushing my teeth, I was lamenting the unfortunate things that had happened when, all of a sudden, the toothbrush broke into two.
What a bad morning! I hope I will never have such a bad luck again.

Read the text below for questions number 4 to 7.
Last weekend, I visited my pen pal’s house. His name is Anto. There were many activities I did there. In the morning, Anto and I had breakfast. We had a traditional food. I liked it very much.
After breakfast, he took me to the garden behind his house. The garden was very big and beautiful. There is a big bird cage in the garden. There were many kinds of birds in that cage. I spent a long time feeding the birds. I also took pictures with those beautiful birds.
After visiting the bird cage, we went to the flower garden not far from his house. We took a rest and had lunch under a big tree and watched butterflies flying above colorful flowers. In the afternoon, we swam in the pool in the backyard. It was so fun. I really enjoyed my time with Anto.
