  • Australia is sixth in size behind Russia, Canada, the United States, China, and Brazil.

  • However, Australia is the only country that is also a continent. For this reason, it’s also known as the island continent

  •  20% of Australia is desert and only about 60% considered habitable, as the rest is too dry for human habitation.

  • there are a lot of venomous animals on this island continent.

    For example, there are many deadly snakes, scorpions as well as 40 species of funnel-web spiders.

North America and south America

  • North America is the third largest continent in the world, ranking just below Asia and Africa

  • North and South America are usually considered as subcontinents, while America is the larger continent of which these two are part of.

  • North America is bordered by three of the world’s largest oceans, namely the Atlantic, Arctic, and Pacific.

  • South America includes the following countries: Venezuela, Argentina, Uruguay, Bolivia, Suriname, Brazil, Peru, Chile, Paraguay, Colombia, Guyana, and Ecuador.

  • The largest country in South America is Brazil, 

  • One of the earliest cultures of South America was at Norte Chico along the central coast of Peru.

  • The Southern Ocean is a large ocean located in the southernmost part of the planet and surrounds Antarctica. Also known as the Austral Ocean or the Antarctic Ocean

  • on June 8, world ocean day. the southern ocean was confirmed as the fifth ocean of the world

  • it is the second-largest ocean on earth

  • The biggest waterfall in the world is in the ocean. It is located in the Denmark Strait between Greenland and Iceland. It is about three times higher than Angel Falls in Venezuela, while the Angel Falls waterfall is usually called the highest waterfall on Earth.
