What is conjuction?
i. A conjunction links two or more words, phrases or clauses together to form a sentence.
(ialah kata hubung yang menghubungkan dua atau lebih perkataan, frasa atau klausa untuk membentuk satu ayat.)
ii. Conjunctions include for, and, nor, but, or, yet,
so.

And (dan) is used to join:
Dan digunakan untuk menggabungkan idea yang sama atau untuk menambah maklumat.
(a) common nouns (kata nama am) - Examples: tables and chairs, pots and pans, letter and parcels
(b) proper nouns (kata nama khas) - Examples: Kuantan and Rompin, the Planetarium and the National Museum
(c) single verbs - Examples: sit and cook, cut and paste
(d) proper nouns with pronouns - Examples: Jane and I, Jenny and I

But (tetapi) is used to join two contrasting ideas:
Digunakan untuk menghubungkan dua idea yang berbeza.
Examples: I slept early last night but still sleepy this morning.

Or (atau) is used when we have to make a choice between one thing or another:
Digunakan apabila kita hendak membuat pilihan antara satu benda dengan yang lain.
Examples: Lina, would you like to have ketupat or tomato rice with your rendang?

Because (kerana) is used to show reason.
Digunakan untuk menunjukkan alasan.
Examples: My sister wiped the table because there was a coffee stain on it.

So is used to show reason or consequences of something.
Digunakan untuk menunjukkan alasan ataupun akibat terhadap sesuatu perkara.
Examples:
1) He is looking for a part-time job so he reads the 'classifieds' section in the newspaper every day.
2) Manisha boiled some water so she could make some tea for her family.

Since is used to express cause and effect.
Digunakan untuk menyatakan sebab dan akibat.
Examples:
Since you are very kind, I will buy you a gift.

Although (Walaupun) is used to show contrast.
Digunakan untuk menunjukkan perbandingan.
Examples:
Although the man is old, he is very strong.
