Two main components of computer are Hardware and Software.

All the physical devices such as monitor, keyboard and CPU that we can touch and feel constitute the hardware.

• Software is a set of programs and related data that are used to give instructions to the hardware.

• Software directs and guides the operation of a computer.

• We cannot touch software

• Examples of software are the music, video, documents etc., files that is on our computer. Even the operating system on our computer is a software.
