Future Forms
Are used to refer to future actions.

Ways of Expressing the Future

» Will is used with pronouns he, she, it and they.

Examples :

He will take her dog for walk.

The meteorological station reports that there will be showers in the late evening.

≫ Shall is usually used with pronouns I and we.

Examples :

I shall work hard to do well in the exams.

We shall speak o his father about the matter.

≫ Going to expresses an intention to do something. It shows the possibility of a future action.

Examples :

She is going to make a dress for the concert.

I am going to speak to you parents about your errant behaviour.

≫ About to + infinitive is used to refer to actions that will happen in immediate or near future.

Examples :

The show is about to start in five minutes! Let's hurry!

The sales promoter is about to open the door of the department store.

FUTURE CONTINUES TENSE

Future Continues Tense

is used for an action that will continue over a period of time in the future.

(is used for pronouns he, she, it, you and they).

Examples:
In a year's time, you will be taking th PSLE.
