Recycling Plastic
We use plastic to make many things. Bags, bottles, straws, spoons and many other things are made of plastic. But plastic takes a long time to break down. Fortunately, we can recycle plastic. Recycling means treating things that we have used so we can use it again.

How plastic is recycled?
---> Firstly, plastic is collected from a recycling centre and taken to a recycling plant. Here, it is sorted into types. Then, it is washed to remove dirt or labels. After that, the plastic is broken into small pieces.
---> Later, the small pieces are smashed and melted together to make plastic pellets. Lastly, these pellets will be sent to manufacturers.
---> Remember, we should not waste plastic. Always recycle them whenever we can. This is how we can help protect the environment.
