For today's lesson, you should be able to:

• Tell the rules of past continuous

• Write the "-ing" form of past continuous

• Choose the correct past continuous form of verb correctly.

• Write past continuous questions and answers correctly.

Example:

>>> I was standing under a tree.

was "verb+ ing"

( was stand + ing)

>>> Lee and Vijay were walking home from school.

were "verb +ing"

"were walk + ing"

>>> It was not raining outside.

was not "verb + ing"

was not rain + ing

>>> Were they talking?
