What is Light?

Light is a form of energy which enables us to see objects.

Sources of Light

1) Artificial Source of light

2) Natural Source of light

Artificial Sources

• They are the sources that are man-made.

• Bulb, Torch, and Candles are some examples of Artificial sources of light.

Natural Sources

• They are the sources that are not man-made.

• Sun, Moon and Stars are some examples of natural sources of light.

• Transparent Objects - Objects that allows light to pass through it are called transparent Objects

• Translucent Objects - Objects that partially allows light to pass through it are called Translucent Objects

• Opaque Objects - Objects that do not allow light to pass through it are called Opaque Objects
