Responsibilities: helps students and staff with medical issues, gives authorized medication, maintains vaccination records, communicates medical needs with families, coaches Volleyball

When should you ask to see her?: if you are having a medical issue that is not solvable on your own, if you need to take a medication she has on file, if you have a question about a vaccination, if you are playing volleyball

School Resource Deputy (he/him)

Located next to the nurses office in the main entryway

Responsibilities: works for the Clay County Sheriff's office, helps maintain the safety of all people on campus, works with teachers to educate students about personal rights and safety

When would you see him?: if you have information about a safety issue at school or outside of school, are concerned about someone else's safety, have a question about community issues or policing

Located between Deputy's office and RAR (top of the stairs by the gym)

Responsibilities: works with families to make sure they have what they need (food, shelter, clothing, medical), works closely with counseling office to work with students who have mental health issues, conflicts with peers, or who need a place to talk/problem solve confidentially; also works at the yearbook advisor

When would you see her?: if your family needs a resource, if you are experiencing a social or mental health issue and your counselor is not available, or if you want to be part of the yearbook staff

Responsibilities: Works closely with students, teachers and families to create and follow through with behavior plans, works with students who are in need of help following expectations or who are having conflict with peers or teachers, manages the Gator Store, also works with students individually in special academic situations

When would you see him: if you have or want a behavior plan, purchasing or collecting a Gator Store purchase, questions about LiveSchool points, if you have an issue with a peer or adult, if you need a "fast pass", if the RAR is unavailable, or if a teacher asks you to visit his room

Ms. Walker, ISS-In School Solutions (she/her)

Location: Main hallway, room 204

Responsibilities: monitors students who are assigned ISS and helps them academically to complete school work they are missing, works with students to identify issues that caused them to be put in ISS and to figure out an alternative course of actions, communicates with teachers, administrators, families, and works closely with the RAR (Ms. Black) and SSS (Mr. Borgmeyer)

When would you see her?: If your consequence for discipline is ISS, if you need help making different decisions when faced with difficult situations, if RAR and Mr. Borgmeyer are busy and you need help with behavior

Ms. Shaddox, Technology Specialist (she/her)

Location: In the library

Responsibilities: assists with technology issues, helps staff and students get devices (computers or iPads) fixed, checks out iPads to students, maintains other building technology

Why would you see her?: to get a new device or to get your iPad fixed, if you or your teacher need to borrow a computer, if your teacher or the office asks you to go to her office
