Responsibilities: works with families, teachers and students on various issues including grades, discipline, procedures, and events

Ms. Ro, Administrative Assistant (she/her)

Located in the main office

Responsibilities: assists families, students and staff members, answers the phone and intercom, helps with attendance, assists with athletics

Why would you see her?: if you have a question about attendance, schedule, finding a room, or if she calls you from class; you may also see her in the morning if you are tardy

Ms. Geary, Administrative Assistant (she/her)

Located in the main office

Responsibilities: assists families, students and staff members, answers the phone and intercom, in charge of attendance (big job!)

Why would you see her?: if you have a question about attendance, schedule, finding a room, bus issues or if she calls you from class; you may also see her in the morning if you are tardy

Ms. Cox, Administrative Assistant (she/her)

Located in the main office

Responsibilities: assists the administrators with tasks, helps with budgeting and finance requests, helps manage substitutes, organizes events and coordinates with vendors, sometimes helps in front office

Why would you see her?: if you are selected to help with an event, if you are assisting her with a task, you may also see her in the front office

Mrs. Prewitt, Nurse (she/her)

Located across from the main office by the entrance doors

Responsibilities: helps students and staff with medical issues, gives authorized medication, maintains vaccination records, communicates medical needs with families, coaches Volleyball​

When should you ask to see her?: if you are having a medical issue that is not solvable on your own, if you need to take a medication she has on file, if you have a question about a vaccination, if you are playing volleyball

Deputy Brady,

School Resource Deputy (he/him)

Located next to the nurses office in the main entryway

Responsibilities: works for the Clay County Sheriff's office, helps maintain the safety of all people on campus, works with teachers to educate students about personal rights and safety

When would you see him?: if you have information about a safety issue at school or outside of school, are concerned about someone else's safety, have a question about community issues or policing

Mrs. Stout, SCRS (she/her)

Located between Deputy's office and RAR (top of the stairs by the gym)

Responsibilities: works with families to make sure they have what they need (food, shelter, clothing, medical), works closely with counseling office to work with students who have mental health issues, conflicts with peers, or who need a place to talk/problem solve confidentially; also works at the yearbook advisor

When would you see her?: if your family needs a resource, if you are experiencing a social or mental health issue and your counselor is not available, or if you want to be part of the yearbook staff

Mrs. Lakenburger, Counselor (she/her)

Located in Counseling office next to main office

Responsibilities: Students with last names A-L; helps with scheduling, communicates with families, students, and staff members about social/emotional or academic issues, works with students who are having a mental health issue, helps with peer conflict, a safe place to talk/problem solve confidentially

When would you see her?: if you have a question about your schedule/class choices, having issues at home or school, are feeling unsafe, sad, anxious or angry, or have other questions you aren't sure who to ask

Mrs. Kukulski, Counselor (she/her)

Located in Counseling office next to main office

Responsibilities: Students with last names M-Z; helps with scheduling, communicates with families, students, and staff members about social/emotional or academic issues, works with students who are having a mental health issue, helps with peer conflict, a safe place to talk/problem solve confidentially; coordinator of the ACE program, Assistant cheer coach​

When would you see her?: if you have a question about your schedule/class choices, having issues at home or school, are feeling unsafe, sad, anxious or angry, or have other questions you aren't sure who to ask; if you are doing an after school activity or participating in cheer

Ms. Black, RAR staff (she/her)

Location: main hallway Room 205

Responsibilities: work with students who have had an issue following expectations, assists in creating success plans, helps problem solve, communicates with teachers, administrators and families, helps with behavior plans; coaches volleyball and track and field

When would you see her?: if a teacher sends you to the RAR (ResponseAbility Room), if you need help creating a success plan, if you are having difficulty with a procedure; if you are participating in volleyball or track

Mr. Borgmeyer, Student Support Specialist (he/him)

Location- main hallway, room 206

Responsibilities: Works closely with students, teachers and families to create and follow through with behavior plans, works with students who are in need of help following expectations or who are having conflict with peers or teachers, manages the Gator Store, also works with students individually in special academic situations

When would you see him: if you have or want a behavior plan, purchasing or collecting a Gator Store purchase, questions about LiveSchool points, if you have an issue with a peer or adult, if you need a "fast pass", if the RAR is unavailable, or if a teacher asks you to visit his room

Ms. Walker, ISS-In School Solutions (she/her)

Location: Main hallway, room 204

Responsibilities: monitors students who are assigned ISS and helps them academically to complete school work they are missing, works with students to identify issues that caused them to be put in ISS and to figure out an alternative course of actions, communicates with teachers, administrators, families, and works closely with the RAR (Ms. Black) and SSS (Mr. Borgmeyer)

When would you see her?: If your consequence for discipline is ISS, if you need help making different decisions when faced with difficult situations, if RAR and Mr. Borgmeyer are busy and you need help with behavior

Ms. Shaddox, Technology Specialist (she/her)

Location: In the library

Responsibilities: assists with technology issues, helps staff and students get devices (computers or iPads) fixed, checks out iPads to students, maintains other building technology

Why would you see her?: to get a new device or to get your iPad fixed, if you or your teacher need to borrow a computer, if your teacher or the office asks you to go to her office

Ms. Ristau, Food Nutrition Manager (she/her)

Location- Cafeteria

Responsibilities: ordering food, maintaining food calendar, managing student meal accounts, ordering, following food safety measures

When would you see her?: during meals or when depositing money into your meal account

Mrs. Rodgers, Library Media Specialist (she/her)

Location: top floor at the top of the stairs

Responsibilities: helps students find books based on ability and interest, assists teachers with lessons about research, sources, and authors, helps with research projects, maintains records of books checked out; also coordinates the MakerSpace materials

When would you see her?: to check out/in a book, when your class goes to the library, in your classroom for lessons, if you have questions about an author, book or source, or for MakerSpace activities

Mrs. Sheckells, Assistant Library Media Specialist (she/her)

Location: top floor at the top of the stairs

Responsibilities: helps students find books based on ability and interest, assists teachers with lessons about research, sources, and authors, helps with research projects, maintains records of books checked out

When would you see her?: to check out/in a book, when your class goes to the library, in your classroom for lessons, if you have questions about an author, book or sources

Custodial Crew

Ms. Hickey, Mrs. Rueter and others

Location- all over the school

Responsibilities: maintaining the facilities, repairing anything that breaks, cleaning and sanitizing, maintaining lockers

When would you see them?: in the hallways, during meals

Coach Waterman, Athletic Director (he/him)

Location: gym or health classroom or coaches office in the boys locker room

Responsibilities: teaches gym and Health curriculum, coordinates scheduling of competitions, coaches, athletes and makes sure that there is transportation available for athletes, maintains records of sports physicals, works with coaches to follow MSHSAA guidelines, maintains sports equipment/uniforms, works with other conference schools' staff in setting up sports schedules

When would you see him?: if you play a sport or have him in class, if you have questions about a specific activity or if you are eligible for a sport, if you have a question about sports physicals or fees

Ms. Chambers, Teaching and Learning Coach (she/her)

Location: Main hallway, room 215

Responsibilities: works with teachers, administrators and students to develop lessons for each subject, helps teachers use different methods to teach, finds resources and materials needed for lessons, helps students to participate in lessons

When would you see her? If she is working in your classroom or if she is leading a small group, in the hallway
