Here are our classroom norms:

• Ask questions when you need help. 

• Come to class with an open mind.

• Treat our classroom as a brave space (be brave to speak & brave to listen to others).

• Be patient...we're all learning together!

Why is it important to be brave to speak & listen?

• So we can hear views different from our own.

• So our voices can be heard.

• So we can have a safe space to talk about important topics/feelings.

Small Group Norming

• We just reviewed a few norms. However, we’re going to brainstorm the majority of our shared norms as a class to make sure everyone is comfortable. 

• With your table team, brainstorm 3 classroom norms you’d like to see for our class. After about 5 minutes, we’ll come back together as a whole class and discuss :)
