OUR EARTH
I speaking, mother earth. Children, do you know about me? I understand you are very excited to know about me. come, i will tell you my story.
3
FORMATION OF CONTINENTS AND OCEANS ON EARTH
About 4.6 thousand million years ago, I was like a moving ball of hot air, just like the sun and just as big as sun but with a little a little lower temperature from the sun. I shrank in a melting land mass but by further cooling I became hard and solid. A thick layer was formed on me and the continents and oceans formed on it.
4
PANGIAEA AND PAINTHLASA (paragraph 1)
Two Hundred fifty million years ago, all continents were joined together and a German scientist named this land mass as Pangiaea. a vast ocean surrounded the pangiaea and the whole left over masses on the earth. a thing can not be remembered till a name of it is created so it was named as Painthlasa.

PANGIAEA AND PAINTHLASA (paragraph 2)
I tell you something interesting. approximately 180 million years ago Pangiaea started moving a broken into two peeices. the part of india that was stucked between Africa, Antarctica and Australia before 18 million years started moving towards Asia and collided. In that cllision, the land mass of Asia started moving upwards. So in this way, some of my parts became Himalaya Mountain.

PANGIAEA AND PAINTHLASA (paragraph 3)
At that time, some more movements were also in process. South America was moving forward towards west which was far away from Africa. While australia was moving towards North far away from Antarctica. Due to this commotion, continental drift took place between North America and Eurasia ( europe and asia as a combined continent). These continents got separated and formed vast huge Atlantic ocean. These continents are still moving slowly. this proccess can be understood by the picture given in the next slides.
