Isra'

The journey of Prophet MUhammad saw from Masjidil Haraam in Makkah to Masjid Al Aqsa in Palestine.

Mi'raj

The journey of Prophet Muhammad saw from Masjid Al-Aqsaa to Sidratul Muntaha.

Miraculous Night Journey

Isra' and Mi'raj was a Miraculous Night Journey on 27th of Rajab Month.

Amul Huzni Year

The journey happened on the year where Prophet Muhammad saw was feeling very sad because his uncle Abu Talib and his wife Khadijah passed away and after the unsuccessful da'awah to People in Taif.

REVISION AMUL HUZNI

• AMUL HUZNI also known as Year of Grief (sadness).

• Its happened on the 10th year of Prophethood.

• Abu Talib and Khadijah passed away

• Prophet Muhammad went to Ta'if to preach about Islam with Zaid bin Harithah but in was unsuccessful.

• Prophet Muhammad saw met with previous prophets and led their prayers at Masjid Al Aqsa.

THE MIRACULOUS NIGHT JOURNEY

Before the journey happened, Angel Jibrail and Angel Mikhail operated Prophet Muhammad saw chest and washed it with zam zam water.

BURAQ

• Prophet Muhammad sawwent up to the sky by a very special animal called Buraq.

• Buraq was slightly larger than a donkey by smaller than a mule.

• It was the fastest animal and was from heaven.

PROPHET MUHAMMAD SAW

On his journey, he met with Prophet Adam and other Prophets of Islam.

He also met with people who will be punished for their sins and people who will be rewarded fo their good deed during yaumul qiyamah.

OBLIGATION TO PERFORM SOLAH

• When Prophet Muhammad saw was at the highest level and met Allah swt, Allah was first obligated Muslims to performs 50 prayers a day.

• However when he encounter with Prophet Musa as, he was told to make du'a so that Allah reduced the obligation a his ummah could not handle that.

5 times of Prayers

• Prophet Muhammad saw asked Allah swt to reduce number prayer for his ummah

• In each meeting, Allah swt reduced 5 times of prayers.

• After 9 times met with Allah swt, Muslims are compulsory to solat five (5) times a day.

• Solat is a gift from Allah swt

PROPHET MUHAMMAD SAW

The Miraculous Night Journey made Prophet Muhammad saw extremely happy.

Once he arrived in Makkah, he told his best friend Abu Bakar ra about it.

Abu Bakar ra was called As-Siddiq because he immediately believed Prophet Muhammad saw went on Isra'and Mi'raj journey.

• The mushrikin was angry with Prophet Muhammad saw.

• They teased him when he said that he had been to Masjid Al-Aqsa.

• Prophet Muhammad saw able to described how many pillars are there in Masjid Al-Aqsa.
