WHAT IS ASEAN?

ASEAN (Association of South East Asian Nations) is an organization that

consists of countries in Southeast Asia.

ASEAN was founded on August 8, 1967

in Bangkok, Thailand. ASEAN was initiated by five countries, namely Indonesia, Malaysia,

Philippines, Singapore and Thailand.

Currently, ASEAN consists of 10 countries

Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Brunei Darussalam, Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar and Cambodia.
