Procedure Text (Manual)
What is manual?
A manual is instruction how to do something or how to operate something through a sequence of steps.
Social function: a text that shows how to operate or use an appliance, a tool, a machine properly.
Generic structure of the text:
1. goal/aim
2. steps
Language features:
1. using simple present tense
2. using imperative to give commands. For example plug in, switch on
3. Using action verbs to express actions what to do. For example add, cut
3. Using connective of sequence (next, then, finally, while, etc).
4. numbering (first, second, third, etc)

HOW TO CLEAN A REFRIGERATOR
