'CAN' FOR ABILITY

'Can' bermaksud 'boleh'. 'Ability' bererti 'kebolehan/keupayaan/
kemampuan/kesediaan'

Can

Kita boleh gunakan 'can' untuk menunjukkan seseorang mempunyai / tidak mempunyai kemampuan untuk melakukan sesuatu.

Contohnya :

I can run (Saya boleh berlari).

Peraturan 1

Kita boleh menggunakan 'can' dalam ayat 'affirmative' (kebolehan yang pasti)

Contoh:

They can dance.

Peraturan 2

Kita menggunakan 'can not' / tidak boleh dalam ayat negatif. 'Can not' boleh disingkatkan menjadi 'can't'

Contoh:

She can not cook. / She can't cook.
