For every letter of the word, we will look for:

1. Hamzah Al Wasl (Hamzatul Wasl)

2. Vowels (Fathah, Kasrah, and Dammah)

3. Long vowels

4. Semi Vowels (Leen letters)

5. Sukoon

6. Shaddah

7. Connections between words

8. Pause between aayah.

9. Stop at the end of aayah.

There are four words in this aayah.

After Laam fathah, there is meem with sukoon.

So we will join both letters laam and meem, and read as:

Ya fathah

Note: Fathah is one count

Next we will say:

Laam kasrah Daal

Note:

1. Kasrah is one count.

2. Daal has sukoon. Hence, we will do qalqalah.

Next we will say:

Now you can see there is long vowel wow (oo sound) on the letter wow.

So we will say:

Ya dammah Wow

Yoo

IMPORTANT:

There is long vowel Wow. Long vowel has two counts.

Yoo will be correct. Yo will be wrong.

Next we will say:

Laam fathah Daal

Lad

Note:

2. Daal has sukoon. Hence, we will do qalqalah.

So now, we can recite the whole aayaah.
