Physical Science Procedures
2
Why do we have procedures?
They let us have more fun! When everyone knows what to do and how to do it, this gives us more time for labs and projects.
Our classroom community needs certain procedures or ways of doing things to run as smoothly as possible.
Procedures keep everyone feeling safe and secure while in class.
3
How to enter the class
I will greet you at the door at the beginning of every class and give you a slip of paper. This will be used for both your bell ringer and exit ticket.
You are expected to be in your seat quietly working on your bell ringer before the tardy bell rings.
Be prepared to share what you wrote for your bell ringer.
4
Supplies needed everyday in class
Pencil
Composition Book
Coloring Utensils (Highlighter, crayons, colored pencils)
Glue Sticks
Headphones or Earbuds (NOT wireless)
5
Speaking out in class
When answering or asking a question, you will need to raise your hand.
Please wait until I have stopped talking so as to not interrupt the flow of the lesson.
This does not apply to emergencies.
6
How to exit the classroom
Since our classroom is small,
you will be called to exit by rows.
A different row will get to leave first each day.
Please leave calmly and quietly or we will wait to leave until the class is quiet.
7
We are about to take a quick quiz on our procedures. The winner can choose a prize from my treasure chest!
