​ERRORS NOT AFFECTING TRIAL BALANCE

​有6种错误是不会影响Trial Balance的数额的。也就是说，这6种错误的出现，你是不会很轻易地发现出来，因为这些错误刚刚好能互相抵消，互相Balance，所以Trial Balance才看不出有错误。

​Error of omission（遗漏错误）

在那个Accounting Year里，你完全忘记/忽略那个Transaction。

• ​例子：Cash purchases of RM 500 was not recorded in the books.

• ​解答：你在当年完全没有Debit和Credit任何东西，所以自然而然不会影响你的Trial Balance。这个时候你就要亡羊补牢，改正错误。

Error of commission（账名调乱错误）

在那个Accounting Year里，Dr. 和 Cr. Side 对了，但是眼花，Post 在类似的 Account 名字

• ​例子：Goods of RM 100 purchased from Chan was credited to Chen’s account.

• ​解答：你的Purchases已经Debit RM100，但你不小心Credit在错的人。这时候你要terbalik回来，把错的人Debit出来，把对的人Credit回去。

Error of principle（原则性错误）

在Accounting Year里，Dr. 和 Cr. Side 对了，但是 Post 在错误概念的 Account

• 例子：A furniture company purchased a motor vehicle by cheque RM 20,000 and debited to Purchase Account.

• ​解答：你买车是要公司用途，不是为了卖出去，所以不能记录在Purchase。你应该Debit在Asset里面。你的Purchases已经Debit RM 20,000，所以要把错的Credit出来，把对的人Debit回去。
