Definition

​Congratulating is expression that is used to congratulate someone when he or she has achieved something.

​(Congratulating adalah ungkapan yang digunakan untuk memberikan selamat kepada seseorang ketika dia mendapatkan prestasi).

Social Function

​To congratulate someone about hir/her achievement.

​(Untuk memberikan ucapan selamat pada prestasi seseorang).

​Contoh achievement:

graduating from school, celebrating something, and getting something new.

​Compliment is an expression used to express our praise to someone.

​It is used everytime we find something good of someone to make him or her happy and improve his or her performance.

​(Digunakan setiap kali kita menemukan sesuatu yang baik dari seseorang untuk membuatnya bahagia dan meningkatkan kinerjanya).
