Use of camera
English is a subject in which people interact so facial expressions are important to achieve communication.
When you join the conference, please turn your camera and microphone on to say hello.
Keep your camera on whenever the activity includes the whole group in the conference.
4
Workspace
If possible try to work in a place where nobody interrupts you or without distractors.
Even if you are not in a physical classroom you’re working with more people and your full participation is important.
5
Microphone
Unmute your microphone to participate and mute it once you have finished to avoid extra noises.
This will allow everyone to listen to the speaker clearly during the conference.
6
Chat
Try to use English when you write in the chat. It’s a great opportunity to practice!
Use the chat for class purposes only and follow the spelling and punctuation rules as well.
7
Are you there?
Try not to enter or leave the conference constantly.
If you need to be absent for a moment, just make sure your camera and microphone are off and inform your teacher with a private message.
8
Professionalism and Respect
Be professional and respectful at all times.
Don’t share your classmates’ personal information or take screenshots while the cameras are on.

Food and drinks
Drinking water, coffee, tea or soda is not bad but do not eat while we’re in class. A snack is fine but a whole three course meal might not.
Being focused
We know you’re at home but please stay focused on the class. Your active participation is important to practice the language you are learning.
12
Attendance
Attendance might be taken at any time during the session.
A minimum of 80% of attendance is required to take the exams.
Talk to your teacher in case of an extraordinary situation.
