​A definição de palavras  açõe é acto ou efeito de movimento ou actividade para obter terminado resultado.Os verbos de ação são aqueles que indicam uma ação,isto é,o próprio verbo exprime algo que foi feito pelo sujeito agente. The definition of the words action is the act or effect of movement or activity to obtain a rejected finish.Action verbs are those that indicate an action,that is,the verb itself expresses something that was done by the acting subject.

Exemplos de verbos de ação: Ler, falar, jogar, estudar, nadar, escrever, lavar, dançar, comer, correr, rezar. The examples of the action verbs are: To read, to speak, to play, to study, to swim, to write, to wash, to dance, eat, run, to pray.​

1.    Esrevo cartas. I write letters.

2.    Pinto o imagem. I color the picture.

3.    Eles estudam na biblioteca. They study  in the library.

4.    A mulher lava roupas. The woman washes clothes.

5.    As criança jogam  bola. The children play ball

6.    Ele come peixe. He eats fish.

7.    Ela dança muito. She dances a lot.

8.    Nós rezamos na igreja. We pray in the church.

9.    A Maria lê livro. Maria reads book

10. O Andy fala bem portugués. Andy speaks good Portuguese Language.

  11. O Senhor Santos corre na praia. Mr. Santos runs  on the beach​

    As ações acontecem num tempo que pode ser: The actions take place in the time that can be:

Ø Presente – a ação está acontecendo.

Present – the action is happening.

ü A professor encina  a lição. The teacher teaches the lesson.

Ø Passado – a ação já aconteceu.

ü A professora encinou a lição. The teacher taught the lesson.

Ø Futuro – a ação irá acontecer.

ü A professora encinará a lição. The teacher will teach the lesson.​
