Catholic Teaching on Creation

The Season of Creation is the annual Christian celebration of prayer and action for our common home. Together, the ecumenical family around the world unites to pray, protect and advocate for God's creation. During the 2021 Season of Creation, from 1 September through 4 October, hundreds of thousands of Christians will be united around the them, "A home for all? Renewing the Oikos of God."

​In the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

Loving God, You created us to live with the birds of the air, animals of the land and sea, trees, flowers, plants and our brothers and sisters around the world. Open our minds, touch our hearts and guide us in ways of care and concern for all you have gifted us.

May we continue to love like Christ. Amen.
