We use the present simple to talk about habits, routines , repeated actions and things done usually, often, regularly, occasionally, sometimes.

Rule

​ Rules:

​Use(s) with all verbs except with the following:

ex: walk - walks

​Use (es) when the verb ends with( s, z, h, x)

​ex: discuss- discusses

​

​Use ( ies) to replace the (y) when the verb ends in a consonant followed by (y).

​ex: fly -flies

​use (es) when the verb ends in (o)

​ex: go -goes

​Form

​Subject + Verb + complement.

​

we, they live in Mexico.

​He, she , it lives in Mexico.
