How are you? I hope you are all doing great.
So lets start our lesson with RECAPPING meaning remembering back what we have already learn in the previous lesson.

What are the properties of magnets?

The properties of magnets are....
1. The poles of a magnet.
All magnets have two poles, North pole and South pole. The strongest magnetic force would always be at the end of each pole.

2. Attraction and Repulsion.
When two LIKE poles are brought together, they PUSH each other away. We say they REPEL.
When two UNLIKE poles are brought together, they PULL each other together. We say they ATTRACT.

3.Resting in a north-south direction.
When a magnet is hung free or floats freely, it will come o rest with the poles pointing

Those are the 3 properties of magnets. With that, we continue with our topic on WAYS TO USE MAGNETS.
With the properties of magnets, it make them useful to people.
1. Magnets attract magnetic materials, they are often use to hold things together. For examples:

2. Magnets are also used in electric motors, toys and loudspeakers.

MAGNETIC TOYS
SPEAKER

3. Magnets are also used in compass, bank cards and MagLev train.
COMPASS
Helps people find directions.
BANK CARDS
To store informations.
MAGLEV (Magnetic Levitation) TRAIN
Use magnets to raise the train above the tracks.
