​Open Google Chrome or any other compatible web browser

  1. ​Open your browser

  2. ​Choose a search engine (Chrome, Firefox, Opera, etc)

Type in your search criteria

  1. Click in the search block and type in what you are searching for.

  2. ​Click on the appropriate or best suggestion that comes up.

Go to Images tab

  1. Click on the Images tab just below the search box.

Select the picture you want

  1. Click the image that you would like to put into your Google Doc.

Put it into memory.....

  1. Right-click the image.

  2. ​From the context menu, click on "Copy image"

Open the target program (Google Docs)

  1. Open Google Docs or any other target program (Microsoft Word, Google Slides, Microsoft PowerPoint, etc.)

  2. ​Right-click on the background of the page/slide.

  3. ​From the context menu, click on "Paste"

  1. If you are pasting multiple pictures, you may want to move them around the document to place them.

  2. ​Click on the picture and from the wrapping options, choose either "in front of text" or choose "behind text", depending on your needs.
