Law #1

​a^m x aⁿ = m^{m + n}         e.g. a² x a³ = a²⁺³

​​​Law #2

​a^m    aⁿ = m^m - n         e.g. a⁴ a² = a^4-2

​**The base MUST be the same when we are simplifying indices.
