A bargain is a deal or an agreement to trade or exchange.

​Favor

A favor is an act of kindness.

​

​e.g: The man is doing a favor for the woman by getting the book for her

​means “caught with a long rope"

​e.g: One cowboy has lassoed a steer.

​Offended

Offended means “hurt the feelings of someone"

​

​e.g: This boy offended his classmates by talking on his phone during class.

​Prairie

​A prairie is a large area of level or rolling land with grass but few or no trees.

​e.g: This view of a prairie seems lonely

​Riverbed

A riverbed is a channel in which a river flows or used to flow.

​

​e.g:

​Shrieked

Shrieked means “made a loud and shrill sound.”

​e.g: This woman shrieked because something frightened her.
