Superlative

2
the most + adjective
Ex.: Mary is the most intelligent girl of our class.
Ex: Gisele Bündchen is the most beautiful model of the world. (Gisele Bündchen é a modelo mais bonita do mundo)
3
Amazon river is the longest river in the world. (O rio amazonas é o maior (em extensão) rio do mundo).
Mount Everest is Earth's highest mountain above sea level. (O monte Everest é a montanha mais acima do nível do mar)
Quais são os adjetivos dessas duas frases? Como é a sua forma base?
4
Cindy is the thinnest girl of our family.
Daniel is the funniest guy I’ve ever seen.
Bob is the craziest boy of our classroom.
5
Obs.: Os adjetivos “good” (bom) e “bad” (ruim) possuem formas próprias para o superlativo. São elas:
Good (bom) → the best (o melhor) Bad (ruim) → the worst (o pior)
Eric is the best teacher of our school. (Eric é o melhor professor da nossa escola).
This is the worst movie I’ve ever seen. (Este é o pior filme que eu já vi).
