Time Signatures​

Kind of looks like a fraction. It tells the musician how to count their rhythms​

​Time Signatures

​Time Signatures have 2 numbers, one on top of the other.

• ​The top number tells you HOW MANY you can count

• ​The bottom number tells you WHAT KIND OF NOTE you are counting

​Time Signatures

​This is very similar to FRACTIONS in Math class

• ​Numerator tells you HOW MANY "parts" you have.

• ​The Denominator tells you WHAT SIZE or WHAT KIND of "parts" that we are talking about.
